Feeling very pregnant

So I am now 25 weeks and I'm really starting to feel very pregnant.  I dropped something at work and found it very tricky to bend over and pick it up.  I am having a harder time getting up from the ground when I sit down to interact with the kids at school.  The baby is kicking around more and more and Kayla is getting excited now that she sees my belly getting bigger.  I am trying to keep Kayla as involved as ever.  The other day I was washing and putting away clothes that my friend gave me and Kayla had to comment on every outfit and I had her help me put them away.  I have so many clothes for 0 to 3 months that I'm very excited about that.  This picture is of what I have put away already and I still have tons more to put away.

Speaking of Kayla she is being such a big girl.  The other night she decided that she didn't want to wear pull ups to bed any more.  We said okay and after a couple nights of accidents she has been doing great with no accidents.  I'm very proud of her!!  It will be nice to have her completely potty trained and only one kid in diapers!! When she was refusing to poop on the potty I bribed her.  She wanted a princess dress so much!  Well she got it.  here's my cute girl in her princess dress.

So to top off this entry here is a picture of me at 25 weeks.

New Adventure

So to explain I did not get the position I was going for at first.  I waited like 3 weeks and called the director and she said she was still looking and hadn't made a descion.  Well then about a week or so after that I find out that she had quit and that now that center didn't have a director or an assistant director.  Well then a week later I get a call from the district manager offering me the assistant position.  So today I started as the Assistant Director at the West Jordan KinderCare.  It was a good day and the staff was awesome.  It will take time to get use to the different atmosphere at the center but I am super excited.  This will be a great new adventure for me and my family.  The best part is that I still get to be in the same building as Kayla and I get a bigger discount on her tuition and the baby's tuition when he gets here.

Lagoon

So our niece works at Lagoon so that being said she got us $10 tickets!  It was awesome!  You can't beat that price and it really is made for Kayla's age and size.  She loved the rides and could ride all the rides in Mother Goose Land!  So first she rode a classic that I remember as a kid the whale ride.

Then she wanted to ride a ride called Lady Bug Bop.  This ride takes you up spins you around then drops you!  I couldn't believe she wanted to ride it.  Well daddy had to take her on it because me being pregnant and all couldn't ride.  She was so brave but after the first drop she looked at Graydon and said I'm done. So this was a one time ride for her.

She loved the other rides and some friends of ours came with their little boy who is about Kayla's age.  They had so much fun riding all the rides together.  Whenever the little boy would get scared Kayla would put her arm around him and hold on to him to make him feel better.  I made me so proud and excited that she is going to be a good big sister!

Her favorite ride was the car ride!  She loved driving around!  Can you see how much she is really trying to drive in this picture.  She rode it at least 5 times.

Her cousins were there and she loved having them there!  Her they are riding the train ride together.  By this time Kayla was getting really tired.  And we got in the car and this is what happened.  I think she had a good time!  It really was a great day and we really enjoyed it!

Florida Trip

So my parents gave all of us a wonderful gift and flew us all the Florida, rented a beach house and gave us a great vacation.  I believe my Mom said this was the first time in 6 years that we all were together on a trip.  So Kayla did pretty good on the plane ride, she loved take off and landing.  In her words "we go super fast!!"  The beach was just beautiful!  White sand, shells, warm water and plenty of sun.  Kayla didn't want anything to do with the waves and we didn't get her into the water until Friday when the waves really died down.  It was really hot plus humidity.  The heat would actually make me very sick so I got a lot of rest on this trip.  Kayla loved being the only kid on the trip and all of the attention that came with that.

The beach was only a short walk away and we made it at least once a day if not more.  Kayla loved the sand and her Dad and Uncle  Bryan made pretty cool castles and other things to keep her entertained.

The pool!  Oh my goodness Kayla loved the pool!  She would have stayed in that pool the whole trip if we would have let her.

Alright and just for you guys here is a picture of my growing belly.  This was just 13 weeks so I popped out really fast with this one.  The swimsuit didn't help my hide it either.

So we had a great time and one day we went to Disney World which is my previous entry.  But it was great having everyone together and to get away.

Animal Kingdom Adventure

So I was pretty excited about taking Kayla to Animal Kingdom.  We were lucky and did the give a day get a Disney day promotion.  So we got free tickets to go!  So of course that made it even more fun for me.  Well we got up nice and early so we could be there for when the park opened since it was a 2 hour drive from where we were staying.

About an hour into the trip we had a lovely surprise, Kayla threw up.  It was horrible!  She was miserable and I couldn't help clean it up because it kept making me gag.  Well we got it all cleaned  up and Kayla didn't have a temp so we decided to give it another try, I mean free tickets to Disney World why not try.  It ended up just being motion sickness because she did fine the rest of the way.

She was super excited when we got there and had to ride the tram to the front gate.  What a fun ride.  She just kept telling everyone that we were at Animal Kingdom, more like yelling it.

We went straight for the safari ride and lucky for all of us the line wasn't very long and they have entertainment in the line so Kayla did well.  She loved the ride and it was really entertaining for all of us.  Check out how close all the animals get and how cool this ride is.  You really feel like you are on a safari.

Well Kayla did super good the whole day.  No major break downs and she really enjoyed the park.  We loved it and had so much fun.

We did the show "It's tough to be a Bug".  She thought the glasses where pretty cool.  She liked most of the show not the part when Hopper showed up but in all she liked it.

Her favorite ride was a ride that is just like the Dumbo ride but it's dinosaurs.  We rode it multiple times and she loved that she could control making it go up and down.

It was a long day and my poor ankles became swollen from being in the hot sun and on my feet all day.  So today is going to be a lazy day to rest and I had a chance to blog about our fun filled day.

Oh on a rather funny note, we went to Olive Garden that night on the way home and my brother Bryan tried to show Kayla a magic trick about making his fork disappear. I will upload the video of her version of her magic trick it is so cute!   She was very proud of her self if you can't tell.
