So I have a secret and I can't keep it any longer. That's right folks I'm pregnant with kid number 2. It's crazy to think we are going to have another kid! I'm due around November 9th. Kayla loves babies so I'm hoping that this whole being a big sister thing will be a hit. Kayla is so funny about it right now. We say hey Kayla your going to be a big sister and she says "No I'm Kayla". So I think when my belly starts growing we will really start trying to get her understand that there really is a baby on the way. We have already switched her old bed which will be the baby's crib with the toddler bed that my Dad made me when I was her age. She loves it! So I will keep you all updated with all things Kayla and baby.

So Kayla has really gotten into doing lots of things by herself. She doesn't want help when she goes potty and usually I end up waiting outside the door hoping she doesn't get distracted by something shiny. She also has to be part of picking out her own clothing which for now is okay because she is happy with picking form the choices provided her. But today she decided she wanted to do her hair by herself. She got a head band and proceeded to put it on her head. This is the end result and she was so proud of herself. And yes we did go out in public like this.

At Kayla's school they had a Winter Gala. All the classes ages 2 up performed songs from their winter curriculum. It was so much fun!! I have to brag because well I'm the one who planned it because Kayla's school is also my work. Well Kayla was so cute!! I took video of course and I really need to share it because it is just so cute!! But for some reason blogger is not letting me upload it so hopefully I will get it up soon. The last picture is of Kayla with her teacher Miss Emily. She loves Miss Emily and so do we.

So our December has been really busy so buckle down and get ready for a long entry.
First off we love the zoo here and have year passes. Well they put up lights in December and they are really cool. Well the only problem is that it is freezing!!!! But they have heaters everywhere so it is worth it. Kayla didn't enjoy us bundling her up but once she saw the lights she was happy. She loves the carousal and every time we go she begs us to go and it's very cheep so usually we give in.
