First off lets explain the big crash. Well we went to the Zoo today because it was really good weather and Kayla loves animals. So we were heading over to the cougar cage and Kayla was pretty excited and was picking up speed and hit a crack in the asphalt. If you can only image how far she flew and how hard she hit. Well she got a pretty nasty bruise slash road rash on her forehead and a bloody nose. Lucky for us she didn't have a concussion and still wanted to see the animals after that. So it turned out to be a pretty good day after that and she really liked the Zoo. I was horrible and forgot my camera but we got season passes so I will get some next time. Here is picture of her with the bruise.
Well after we got home and Kayla had a nap it was such a nice day that me and Kayla spent most of it outside. My parents were so cool to go buy a toddler friendly swing seat which she loved. Then we played with her ball and she practiced kicking it around the yard. She also practiced her jumping on the trampoline and it was very cute. I did have my camera for this so here are some cute pictures of her.
Here is Kayla eating some of the snow that is hanging around.
What does a bunny do Kayla, JUMP!!

Ring around the tree? Yep she spent a good 5 minutes just going around and around the tree.

YEAH! The swing!

Just Hanging Out.
So it's been pretty boring around here lately. We get up go to work and come home and of course play with Kayla. So here are some pictures of Kayla hanging out with Daddy. They are watching Kayla's new favorite movie, Horton Hears a Who. She asks for it all the time even though she only gets to watch it every once and a while.

Valentines Day and temper tantrums!

Valentines day was really fun for me, but I also love all the silly little holidays and think it's fun to have any chance to celebrate something. Well Graydon did very well this year, I got beautiful flowers(gerber daisies my favorite) a cute froggy(which Kayla has taken over) and a iTunes gift card(new music yeah!!!). I had fun with getting Graydon something that I have been looking for for 3 years!!! First off you need to know that Graydon does not like gas grills, he loves to cook with charcoal. Second he is very picky about his grill. Well I had given up hope trying to find a grill that fits all his wants until one day I choose to walk through the garden center part of Walmart and I ran into the perfect grill!!! I was so excited!!! So of course it because the perfect Valentines gift. It was awesome and I got the closest to an excited reaction I can get out of my hubby so it was great. Then I found Kayla a dog puppet that sings!!! It is very cute and she dances to the music!
Well Graydon's work does cake decorating for the kids on V-day so we signed Kayla up. She thought this was awesome and proceeded to concentrate very hard and put as much icing as she could on her cake. It was beautiful!! I will be scraping off the icing before I eat it but it was way cute to watch her.

And she was very proud of her self as you will see by the pictures.
Then me and Graydon got to go out. We went to Olive Garden!!! YUMMY! It was a hour and a half wait but it was okay, we just talked and walked around so it was fun. Then we went and saw Bride Wars! Sooooo FunnY!! It's cheesy but good and I like cheesy so if you like cheesy you will like it too. So that was my way fun Valentines day!
Well Kayla has discovered more of her attitude lately and has started throwing temper tantrums when things don't go just right. It's been a little stressful at times when her temper tantrums goes for 10 mins and we can't get her calmed down because we changed her diaper before we feed her breakfast. Well of course we took some pictures to cherish these times for always.
I was very happy about this out break while doing her hair can you tell by my face.

Hello
Well I don't have any new pictures because well nothing really happening yet. But I have made a big choice, drum roll please dummmmmmmmm......... I'm going back to school! TADAAAAAA! I know I just finished up with my associates and it took me forever but I don't want to be in daycare for the rest of my life and I've always wanted to teach dance in a high school so off to school I go. I'm working on getting accepted into my program at Utah Valley University and want to start up this fall. I'm a little scared because I will have to take a lot of dance classes and well I haven't really dance for a while. So I'm trying to get back in shape and figure out how I'm going to manage this with everything that goes on in life. But I know if I put in the time now it will pay off later. So wish me luck.

Vegas Baby
This is how Graydon felt while driving down to Vegas.
So me and Graydon took off, left Kayla with my parents and went on a trip down to Vegas. It was in celebration of our anniversary and Graydon getting accepted into the Radiology Tech program at SLCC. So we found a good deal on a room at the Excalibur and headed down. Well I've never been to Vegas other than when I was little on dance tour and it wasn't really a long stay. So we did all the free stuff, the M&M factory, the Coca-Cola Factory, MGM's lion habitat, the Belogio's amazing fountains and of course walking up and down the strip. I think we walked up to 10 miles over the day and a half we were there. We got to ride the roller coaster at New York, New York. It was a really good roller coaster. We also got to see a couple show's the Tournament of Kings at the Excalibur which was jousting and sword fighting all that good stuff. It was really good. We also got to see a comedy show called, Defending the Caveman, it was pretty funny. It was all about the difference of men and women. Lastly was my favorite, we saw Mystere, which is the orignal circe de sole. It was AWESOME!!! It was amazing the things they did and the effects and jokes it was all good. So it was a pretty awesome trip. I think our favorite was the fountains at the Belagio. They were amazing and we never saw the same show twice, every time we got a different song.

The M&M factory. Lots of yummy treats and things that had M&M on them. Plus they had a 3D movie that was pretty funny. Dancing socks and all.
This was Graydon waiting for his food. He was imagining what it would be like to not have pictures taken of him.
The Lion Habitat was really cool. It's all glass but it's sound proof and scent proof so that they lions are willing to get closer. Also they have like 20 lions on a ranch away from the hotel and they rotate them out so that they are only there for about 5 hours a day maybe 2 days a week. It was pretty cool.
Me in front of the fountain! Love it! Not a bad picture if I do say so my self.
We trusted someone with our camera! Scary but it's nice to have a picture of us together.

Buckets and Babies

So Kayla for some reason thinks that this popcorn tin we have is a great place to sit and relax. She is so funny about it. She will climb in and then watch a little TV like it's a recliner or something. She was being so silly with it too because she would work really hard to get into it then would climb out and do it all over again. I got some on video that I just had to share.
Next is the baby part. No I am not pregnant sorry but we have to get Graydon through school first. Kayla got a baby doll for Christmas which she loves so much!! Well my Mom had kept the baby cradle my Grandpa had made me when I was a little girl and we pulled it out. Kayla loves it! She loves having me wrap her babies in a blanket and putting them to bed. It's very cute!
