Kayla's Haircut

So we have cut Kayla's hair before because if you know her she has a ton of it. But this time we took off a big amount, 3 inches. I was a little nervous because well come on 3 inches but it turned out way cute. We went to Cookie Cutters which is a place just for kids and they know how to make the experience fun and not traumatic. Well Kayla was pretty excited about her hair and kept saying Pretty Hair when it was done. Here is a before and after shot of her cute hair. I have to say I really like it but it makes her look older which is not cool but oh well.

The Aquarium

So we have season passes to the aquarium here because they were so dang cheap and our daughter loves and I mean loves fishes. Nemo is a favorite in this house. So we go all the time because it's a small aquarium and it doesn't take us too long to go through it. I mean come on it's in Utah and just a couple years old. But we usually go without planning it so have never taken the camera. So my wonderful husband remembered to grab the camera so we have some great pictures of our little aquarium trips. YEAH!!! Kayla loves to look at every little thing even if it's just for a mintue except the frogs, she is very afraid of frogs. But you can see we have lots of fun and enjoying our little bit of the sea.

BOO! Did I scare you!

I know that it has been forever since I last posted and well I'm sorry. But I'm here to say we are all alive and doing well. Graydon is enjoying working mornings now that school is out and I love having him around at night. Kayla also loves seeing daddy a lot more and loves it when he picks her up early from school. I am still working in the Prekindergarten classroom and it's stressful but rewarding. My daughter is loving the warm weather and being outside as much as possible. Our neighbors have a heated pool and have invited us to use it!!! YEAH so excited! Graydon is working so hard and is doing some extra sprinkler work over the summer to help us pay down some items and hopefully get into a house. I only have a couple new pictures but they are fun. They are from our BBQ at my Mother In-Laws house over Memorial day weekend. Kayla loved running around and pulling the wagon. She didn't like to ride in it so much but wanted to be in control surprise! Well now that you know we are alive I will try to update more often.

Easter Fun!!!!!

Hello all and welcome to the fun and crazy of our Easter!!! It was lost of fun and it was great having both of my brothers up to enjoy it with. First off I must warn you that my husband got a little crazy with the camera and this is not even half of the pictures he took . So first off it starts with the night before Easter when the adults got to color eggs. That's right Kayla didn't get to because it was too late and well I really didn't want her hands stained for the next day. Selfish of me I know but she will get to do it next year I promise. This is a picture of me holding the thing that you dip the eggs with. Told you he got a little crazy with the pictures.
This is Raye, Curtis my little brother's fiance. She got to help us with the eggs and doesn't she look super excited to get her picture taken!! Well we brought out all the big guns for decorating our eggs this year. Permanent markers, duck tape, stickers , yeah they looked pretty cool.
Here's my favorite egg that I did. Yep it's polka dotted. I had to use a q tip to achieve this look but I think it was worth it.




Well the Easter bunny came to our house and all Kayla could say when she saw the living room was "oh wow!!!" It was very cute and she was super excited to find all the eggs. So she of course had to try and carry as many eggs as possible at a time so that she could maximize the amount she found. That's how it works right? She also used my mom's hands as storage until she realized that she had a basket to store all of them. Here she is transporting the eggs to her basket from my mom's hands. And she makes the basket!!!

And lastly as a child I remember calling jelly beans bunny poop so I layed out a few not really thinking about what's the first thing my daughter is going to do. That's right she tried to shove as many in her mouth before I took them away as possible. So here she is with her stick yellow face and yellow egg.


Now my princess got some cute bunny ears in her basket and a carrot bat and ball to play with. Being the bunny she is she tried to eat the bat and she just so happened to have her ears on so it was perfect.















So later that day after church we headed up north to spend the rest of Easter with Graydon's family. It was lots of fun and Kayla was excited to do another egg hunt. I love these pictures because you get to see Kayla's way cute Easter dress that I love!!! It's fits her so perfectly with her personality. We also had lots of great food(yeah for holiday food!!) and the kids love playing with each other. So all in all we had a pretty fantasic Easter . At the end of the rest of the pictures I uploaded a video of Kayla playing with her ball and bat like a golf ball slash soccer ball. It's pretty funny, enjoy!!

Great Weather and Big Crashes

First off lets explain the big crash. Well we went to the Zoo today because it was really good weather and Kayla loves animals. So we were heading over to the cougar cage and Kayla was pretty excited and was picking up speed and hit a crack in the asphalt. If you can only image how far she flew and how hard she hit. Well she got a pretty nasty bruise slash road rash on her forehead and a bloody nose. Lucky for us she didn't have a concussion and still wanted to see the animals after that. So it turned out to be a pretty good day after that and she really liked the Zoo. I was horrible and forgot my camera but we got season passes so I will get some next time. Here is picture of her with the bruise.

Well after we got home and Kayla had a nap it was such a nice day that me and Kayla spent most of it outside. My parents were so cool to go buy a toddler friendly swing seat which she loved. Then we played with her ball and she practiced kicking it around the yard. She also practiced her jumping on the trampoline and it was very cute. I did have my camera for this so here are some cute pictures of her.

So it's been pretty boring around here lately. We get up go to work and come home and of course play with Kayla. So here are some pictures of Kayla hanging out with Daddy. They are watching Kayla's new favorite movie, Horton Hears a Who. She asks for it all the time even though she only gets to watch it every once and a while.
